Has anyone had any experience with the AM Classic Isis BB? I am trying to decide between the AM Classic or FSA BB to go with some FSA Pro Team Cranks.

Well, I guess you could say I have experience with them! We have had excellent reviews personally and consumer wise. We couldn't be happier. At 140 grams, our 108mm ISIS is the lightest ISIS bottom bracket available, and it's STEEL!! Our 113mm is 148 grams and it is the lightest also! It retails for 60 USD and we do have them in stock.

Thanks for your reply Guru, weight is not my primary concern, durability and smoothness is what I am mainly concerned by. I dont want something like a Shimano DA BB on my bike :)
Although you are probably biased I was wondering if you could let me know how the BB compares to say the FSA BB or the Campy Record BB?
And also I am in Australia so stock levels dont affect me too much, whatever happens it normally takes ages to get any of the good stuff here :).

Compared to the FSA and the Campy, We are lighter of course, but other than that, not much difference. I am probly the most unbiased person out there! I have always been the test subject for anything new, even when I had a bike shop and was wrenching for pros. So, I like things that work, not nessecarily the lightest. As for being in Oz, That's no biggie, we ship to bike shops OR customer direct! So, if ever interested in something, we can help you out directly. We ship UPS or USPS, which ever is cheaper for the customer.
