How do they compare to Shimano 105/Ultegra level hubs? I haven't seen them around much so I don't know if they have a reputation, good or bad. Has anybody used them? I've got a set of Mavic MTB hubs on a CrossLink wheelset that seem okay, but I haven't really used them much yet. They seem okay, but totally different from the old Mavic road hubs.

Well, interms of quality, Mavic is excellent! Well above Shimano Dura Ace. The hubs on their Built Wheels are different then the regular hubs they sell. Partly because their built wheel hubs are made by Sachs Germany. And their "stock" hubs are made in France. That's why the should feel different.
