|to me it is a nice cyclocomputer that unnecessarily costs twice as much as its equally-equipped competitors.
I have one on my current ride but am buying something different for the new bike.
No one (I think) can criticize the quality of the FD, but it is easy to criticize the price and the cost/benefit issue.

|pro's would have to be the clean simple look it gives and the ease in taking the bars off. the cons would be cost. operation and function are the same besides those two points. i bought it and love it. i do find myself watching the computer too much though. it has such a large display it sort of stands out and grabs your attention.|

|I have the wired version of Flight Deck on one bike, and a Performance Axiom Wireless on the other. Although the FD's cadence and gear indicator functions are nice, I actually prefer the Axiom. For the price -- about $40 -- it is hard to beat. Large, easy to read display, all the necessary functions, and no messy wires. You can buy an extra mount kit for $20 and swap it between bikes. I've had mine for a year and a half with no problems.|| |
