Just interested to see if anybody uses them. These are the barrel-type shifters made by Profile. I'm a little leary of throwing down money for these in the wake of recent recalls of two other Profile products (stem and bars).
they are just grip shiftersstr8dum1

they work just fine. all depends on if you prefer turning a barrel( profile) or pushing a lever (barcons)
They suck!AaronL

Tried a pair on my tt bike. Never could get them to shift correctly and I took it to three different mechanics. It shifted just fine before with STI and after with bar-ends.

The flaw in the design is that the shifter does not have any built in overshift like all other Shimano index shifters. Without the overshift you can't dial it in to shift correctly through the entire range of gears.

They are not worth the money, IMO.
