Removal of freehub body (Rev X )Torzi

I need some direction in removing the freehub body on my 1996 rev x ( shimano ).I have the bearings out ( loose ball bearings )but don't know how to remove the freehub body.The race is worn but I have a spare wheel thats damaged elsewhere and want to swap freehub bodys Thanks for the help Torzi

I think it's a 10mm allen wrench, standard for all current freehub bodies. Quite large. Every shop will have one and might let you knock them out real quick. That'll pull the mounting bolt and the freehub is separate. Make sure to keep track of the spacer on the 'X.

Thanks esoteric I was just coming back to post a answer to my own qestion.Your right I just pushed the axle out then used a 10 mm allen wrench and unscrewed the freehub.If you don't have enough leverage with the allen wrench put the wrench in a vise and just spin the wheel. Thanks Torzi
