have a campy record 9 derailleur. The pulleys are 46 mm apart from the c-to-c of the pulley bolts. Is that standard or medium cage and what is the cassette ratio min to max I can use. Thanx for your help.
sure about that measurement?C-40

I measured my standard cage Record 10 derailleur and the pulley's are 55mm apart. The maximum cog capacity is 26T.

I just sent an e-mail to Brandford with the same question. (The derailleur that you have must be from a 1999 or older 9 speed Campy drivetrain.)

Brandford did not mention whether this is medium or standard but that the max. cog tooth size for this derailleur is 26. I think the derailleur you have is standard because the medium should work with a 29 cog tooth. The newer derailleurs from Campy have longer cages but the chain wrap and largest cog for the medium and standard cages are the same because the parallelgram geometry is different.

yes it is from 1999, and thanx guys. I think it is a 26t max.,kcd must speak german as the english info was on p11. Appreciate all the help. It's an older '99 record titanium. I was going to use it for one of my my cross bikes, but may now use it for my roadie and switch my older roadie (2000 ultegra) over to my cross. Who knows, I have some thinking to do.
