Mavic Ksyrium vs. Rolf Vector Pro(2 posts)

Mavic Ksyrium vs. Rolf Vector ProVimalakirti
May 5, 2002 5:31 AM
I ride a 2001 Cannondale R600, and after repeated problems with the back wheel, the CXP 21/CODA wheelset finally has to go. I'm interested in the two aforementioned: I know both the Ksyrium and the Vector Pro are great wheels, and I'll probably get 20 different answers--but what are the pros and cons between the two? If it makes any difference, I'm primarily using this bike for duathlons, so aerodynamics might be an issue. I'm 6'2", 170#, and I ride the bike on very flat terrain, kind of windy conditions, plenty of potholes (i.e., Chicago, IL).

since no one else is responding... I have two pairs of Ksyriums, both the SSC's and the SL's. They are great wheels, but if you ride in windy conditions, you will definately notice a crosswind. Doesn't bother me, but I ride mostly in the mountains with no wind.
