Thought I posted it but did not. Old age and kids don't mix well. After 2k it measures 12" pin to pin. Not too shabby.

I also measured my C-10 chain, which just broke at the permalink after 5100 miles, and it also measured 12" pin to pin (if it was longer than that, perhaps 1/32"). However, it had a lot of side-to-side play, much more so than the new chain I replaced it with.

THat is actually pretty good, I can't help but wonder, which is more wear resistant,Stainless or the other? Some stainless is tough to machine and some is easy. I would think the tough would be more wear resistant, but expensive to make into a chain. More expensive than the difference they charge. Hey, thanks for getting back.
