I started using them as training tires in the winter and the rears would wear out in about 500-600mi. Always bought tree, two rears to one front. Recently put a pair of semi-used Axial Pros back on,.....wow, what an improvement, they ride better and wear much much better. Now I'll probably end up getting Axial pros for training again because in the end they are cheaper.

Had them on a bike last year. I got 4 flats in the first 300 miles and I took them off. The ride was ok but nothing to write home about. Like the other poster, I switched to Pros and love them.

OK tires. They do wear fast as compound is soft. I didn't have flatting nightmares but a buddy did. Ride Axials, Vredstein Fotezza's and Vittorias mostly (what ever I find on sale of the 3) much nicer treads.

The Kendas do wear pretty fast, but if you rotate front & rear every 200 miles or so, you should be able to distribute the wear a bit better.

I have a hard time believing Michelin's are cheaper by the mile though. I used to ride Conti Grand Prixs when I lived in Europe, but they cost double in the States what they do in Deutschland.

I've had no puncture problems, but perhaps the wear/puncture issues are body-weight/ride style related: I'm a 170 lb finesse rider (i.e. mountain biker) who picks careful lines.
