|$2000 question - Douglas bikes?||rockbender|

|Does anyone have any experience with the Douglas ti or AL with carbon seat stays (available through Colorado Cyclist)?
I set out to first get a new set of wheels for my old bike, then decided I would spend about $1200 on a new 105 equiped bike, but have since convinced myself I should spend up to $2000 and get an Ultegra ride.
I have ridden and liked Bianchi's SL and XL aluminum frames and those are certaintly contenders in the hunt - My LBS has decent deals on last years bikes (only drawback - 1" steerer).
Any other bike choices would be much welcome - not married to any certain frame material, though not crazy about super stiff AL (ala Klein).
Thanks to everyone for making my day at work go by a bit faster!

|If this site had a FAQ list, this one would be in there.
The Douglas Ti frames are made by Titanium Sports -TST. Very experienced contract OEM builders. Great value.
I have no idea about the Al frames.
