Yes, I know - the dreaded Forte brand. But they're good tires. If you use them, though, make sure it's the Pro Kevlar line: the other Forte's are not very good and wear out quickly. The Pro Kevlar's ride nicely, are inexpensive, and wear well. They do tend to flatten out on the tread a little quickly but, hey, nobody's perfect.

In the past, I have been reluctant to recommend Containental tires because I felt they had poor cut resistance. I can't remember ever wearing out a Conti. I've always cut a caseing badly enough to have to throw it away. Do you think the Gatorskins are significantly more cut resistant than previous Continental tires?

Not sure compared to other Conti's, but they are far better than Michelin AP's or Vittoria Corsa's. They are really tough.

have put about 1000 miles on them, no cuts, no flats. I sure miss standing along side the road changing flats in my axial pro lights that originally came on my bike.
