Frog cleats on a road shoe?sodade

I have heard rumours of such a thing. Is it true? Is it a hack? How walkable are they? How muck-proof?

I am fricking sick of my x3 cleats - these things are way too sensitive to dirt and sand.
why not?Jekyll

If a shoe will accept an SPD adaptor then you can use Frogs.
I doubt they would be any more walkable than any other cleat on a road shoe. The fact that you can walk with MTB pedals cleats on MTB shoes comes from the fact that the shoes have a recessed sole and not from the design of the cleat.
They are more than adequate for muck-proofing on the road but, IMHO not so much so for off road.
