front end-->headset/stem/fork creaking like a b@#$Jimmbo

I recently purchased a road bike and after a few weeks of riding a very anoying creaking became very prominant in the front end. This only occurs when out of the saddle and powering (torquing on the bars) up hills. Im not too familiar with the threaded headset design but from what I can tell it seems to be tight. The setup is a shimano 600 headset, syncros stem and a K ems composite cabron fiber fork. Ive been told that "creaking" is expected for carbon forks but this seems excessive. If anyone as any comments or advise that would be great.
Thanks.

I had same problem which went away after tightening the stem bolts (to the bar). Only heard the creaking/crackling noise when rocking the bars hard out of the saddle. Tightened the bolts and the noise went away.

Is the center of the bar a bulge or a sleeve.Many sleeved bars creak between the sleeve and the bar. The trash can will stop the noise. I deduce that you have a metal steerer tube, grease the stem the whole length of fork insertion with a heavy grease. That should stop the noize.
