Internal cable routing noiseNago

I have a 97 colnago supresimo with internal cable routing, the road vibrations are causing a rattle in the top tube from the internal routing. I have heard of this happening on other bikes. Is there any way to fix this?
thanks

A friend squirted a little expanding foam insulation--just a touch--into the tube to hold the housing steady. Don't know what happens when it's time to change the housing. That stuff is pretty tenacious.
On the less invasive side, if it didn't rattle before and it does now, something must have changed. Maybe try pulling the slack out of it where it goes into the tube?

I have an Aegis with internal brake cable routing that will pick up a lot of water if ridden in the rain. The foam may be a solution to that issue.
