A most disturbing set of sounds occurred last night while riding on VERY rough roads. I live in PA where the roads are mostly cracked and messed up because of the extreme heat and cold. While riding over the smooth sections, the TCR 0 that caresses the roads near me hums. When I hit the rough stuff, I swear it sound like its ready to pop--especially in the cockpit! Does this happen to anyone else? I checked my headset and fork and everything checks out? Is it because of the CF in the steerer tube, bar, and fork? What could cause these sounds ? Thanks in advance? OOooo! Maybe it could be the Vector Pros...being stiff and all?
It probably is the CF...TJeanloz

The old design Spinergy wheels (which were CF) sounded like they had exploded into many pieces any time you hit a big pothole. But they were always fine...

I'm riding vector pros as well. Mine make a really wonderfully scary pow every time I hit one of those root-faults on the path. But, they've never gone out of true either.
