I have a Bianchi Veloce, which I really enjoy riding. Last year I upgraded the wheels to Mavic CXP33's with Chorus hubs. I have the opportunity to purchase a Chorus 10spd gruppo at a very reasonable price. My question is, at any price,is this frame worth spending the money on. I see no reason to buy a different frame anytime soon.
Only you can answer that.McAndrus

I'd say this is a totally personal choice. I have an older Eros which started life with Veloce/Mirage and now is Daytona/Chorus except for the cranks which are still Mirage.

Over the years as pieces have become available I've used them. It's one of the mix-and-match benefits of Campy.

I'd say you'll notice the performance difference so if that's what you're after then go for it.

My gios megalite - gios' low end tig-welded steel frame that excel sports has sold as veloce - and a favorite ride of mine, is now chorus/racing t. This may be a component overmatch, but it's a great bike. If you like the bike I'd go for it. It's entirely your call.
