can i modify my campy cassette?colker

i've got 12-23 daytona(10sp). i want to go on extended steep climbs and don't have the legs. thought of a 25 or 26 at the end of the cassette.if it can be done, what's the procedure? i'm totally ignorant and the guys at the lbs are, let's say, a third ignorant so knowing, (theoretically) a few things would be safe.
ahh.. would i need to lengthen my chain? my derrailleur is daytona, medium cage.

check the Branfordbike.com web site.

They have ALL of the particulars your interested in.

BTW: I built several custom C10 cassettes and it's quite simple.

Der. should be fine. The problem is that the top end of the cass. is pinned together. At least they are on Record and Chorus although I've never looked at Daytona.

I thought about cutting them but figured they were put together that way for a reason, so I just bought another cassette.

If somew of them are pin together you have to buy a new cassette because only the top ones seperately are as expensive as a new casstte. And the spacers between the two top pined sprockets are different so you are f...ked.
