37 chain ring for Ultegra 600?mwood

A friend of mine runs a 37 on the front of his Litespeed/Campy Chorus bike, which helps with the hills (lots of 8-10% grades) we have out here.
Is it possible to change to a 37 on my old Cannondale/600 bike?
i thought 39 was the smallest a 135 BCd (campy) could accept NMSpirito di Finocchio

of course, you'll want not to have too big a gap between the 2 rings, else shifting will suffer.

I know a 38 will work, but have never seen a 37. Are you sure it is a 37? Did you count it or see the stamping. Thanks, just curious. If the ring has a 130 BCD it will work ok. Since it is an old 600, it probably is not on a 9-speed. You need to stay aware of the allowable spread for the front and rear Der..

Excel sells a 38 tooth ring made by Siguno. I've used one at it works fine.

Anyone know where I can find a 39 tooth ring for an Ultegra triple? My wife's bike has a 52-42-30 triple which I'd like to change to 52-39-30. It needs to have pins (be made specifically for a triple). The 39 double won't work. Would a DA 39 triple work? Know where I can get one?

As you may know, since I've posted this several times, I've spent a lot of time and money trying get my wife's bike geared right for her, I think I've finally done it. I replaced the Ultegra triple crank-set and bottom bracket with Campy Racing T triple crank set with 50-40-30 rings, they are a matched set. The rest of the bike is 9-speed Ultegra. The Ultegra front triple derailleur shifts the campy crank-set at least as well as when it was all Ultegra. I've got the cage set down to 1.5mm above the big ring, that helps. I also converted a 12-25 cassette to a 14-28 cassette with some Sheldon Brown parts mixed in. This can be done starting with an Ultegra or D-A cassette (used a 16 out of an XTR cassette.) The whole thing works well and we're happy. I don't know of any after market chain rings designed to replace triple rings, it seems they need to be a matched set.
That's too much hasslepmf1

Its her #2 bike. I'm going to see if I can find a DA triple ring somewhere (where?). It comes in 53-39-30

I've read it 3 times and don't think I'm mentally/visually challenged. 38 is the smallest I see for a 130 BCD(shimano) and 39 the smallest for a 135BCD(campy)....the 37 is for a 110 BCD and that is not current Shimano or Campy BCD.Also checked the TA rings in the QBP catalogue...same answer. If I'm stupid or missing something,I humbly accept, and issue dropped.....
