What's going on? Gregg - help me!Kerry
Mar 13, 2002 5:56 PM
Starting last night, every time I try to reply to a post, I get a "no path" message instead of the normal reply box. I can still reply on the General and Racing boards, so I have to reach one of two conclusions:

1. something's goofy with this board that affects me but not others
2. you just don't want me posting on the Components board

Is anyone else having this problem, and are there any suggestions.
I have the same problem, hit or miss. nmscottfree

If I hit reply to the original message in a thread, it works. But if I try to reply to one of the responses, I get the same "no path" message. I also had to adopt another screen name because I could no longer log-in using the Ttrwheel name I had been using for months. Has tarwheel been banned from the site?
Bianchi might have itKerry

I cannot reply to any post in this thread, but I can reply to my original post. I'm going to try deleting cookies and then connecting as a new user. This may be tied into my having to register (for the first time) this week. I had never registered before, and the system always let me reply - I just had to enter my name & e-mail the first time I posted on any given board. After that, it would remember for the session. Now that I am registered, it remembers from the start of the session, but I have this reply problem (which also cropped up on the General board at the end of last night.) I'm going to start a new life and see if that helps. Thanks for everyone's comments.

I have found that when the new and improved RBR forum went into production several months back, I was having all sorts of issues using Netscape version 4.78 and 6.1. I have since switched to using Internet Exploder 6.0, and the issues have been not occured. As you can see, I have no problem replying to your post.

I'm using IE 4.XX. It worked fine until last weekend (or was it Tuesday?). Tonight I found that until I logged in (which I never had to do before) I couldn't do anything but read threads - no reply button exits. I wonder if this is some change implemented to be able to screen out some of the more "out there" posters.
