Wheel Upgradedmoulton

Currently riding Rolf Vector Comps. Looking to upgrade with everyday riding in mind. I'm a bigger rider, 6'4" and 200 lbs. so I don't want something I'll spend bucks on only to ruin very soon. Any ideas???

For your size/weight: Campagnolo Neutrons: strong and light. Your Vector Comps weigh 1870 Gms. and Neutrons weigh in at 1580 Gms, thats over 1/2 pound savings on your wheelset where weight matters most. You'll see an amazing difference! In years past this wheelset was called Nucleons so look at the reviews on this site. Best price: if you can't find Nucleons on close out somewhere, then totalcycling.com where they're under $500. Good luck!

also consider: Cane Creek Aeroheads (have 'em and love em), Velomax Orion Comps, Mavic Ksyriums (those are really bombproof). and yes, the Neutrons/Nucleons are good. I don't think there's much difference between Nucleon and Neutron.

If you're a Shimano guy, you can get DA hubs with Velocity Aeroheads from Colorado Cyclist for $290. Campy Record for $309. You won't do much better, though you can spend a lot more.
