Go the Silca Super Pista... I have an old one that has outlasted many other ones I've tried. My Specialized, Blackburn and Zefals have all broken over time and I keep coming back to the Silca. I doesn't look fancy and the brass pump head doesn't attach as easily as some (the key is to loosen the brass ring and tighten after attaching to the stem) but you can still buy replacement parts (!) if you ever need them. The new ones are essentially the same as the one I used in a bike shop 25 years ago (the base is different today). They are about $40

This one is the same as the Super Pista but has the gauge mounted up on top for us older people that don't see to well. Excel has it for $45.

Cheaper than the other Silca models and a little smaller. No problem getting high pressures. Why spend more?

Because you get a better pump, NMKurtVF

More air per stroke but not better quality. Plus, the Track pump is a fair bit cheaper.
Different strokes.....KurtVF

for different folks. (No pun intended) They are variations of the same pump, some think the added features are worth it, some might not.

Had one several years ago and kind of ran over it in my car. I bought it used and used it for several years myself. I have bought several brands in the interim Blackburn, specialized, zefal. Finally broke down and bought another silca. Nothing fancy it just works and lasts, unless of course you back over it in a car :)
Yeap, Silca............................... (nm)Jekyll
