Rolf bearing replacement questionLshark

I have a set of Rolf pros with around 12k on them. I noticed yesterday while cleaning the bike that the rear wheel was real gritty sounding so i pulled out the bearings and the small drive side bearing is shot. Has anyone had to replace the bearing on these wheels and if so where can you order this parts online ?

find a bearing supplier where you live. the bearing will have a number somewhere on them that the guys at the supplier can match up. each size has a particular number and a sealed bearing is a sealed bearing as far as that goes. i had the same prob with my k's and took the bearing out and replaced it with one purchased at the bearing company. it was a whole lot cheaper and works perfectly! might be easier than trying to deal with trek to get a new bearing!

I did try the local bearing headquarters shop. I took the bearings up with me but didnt seem to help much .He located a source for the nondrive side bearing for $40 and couldnt locate the drive side (the one thats ground up).I thought that $80 was a lil steep for 2 bearings..

Take the bearing to the LBS and get them to look in the QBP catalog. They stock many of the bearings. I found bearings for some Mavic stuff there at real good prices.
