Anyone happen to know the weight on a Croll frameset (853 Road)? Haven't been able to track this down anywhere on the WWW & Croll itself is out of business.

I would estimate around 3.5-3.75 for the frame depending on the size. I used to have a landshark 853 and it was around 3.5 lbs. Croll went out of business? I always thought they were nice looking frames.

I agree on your weight range. Most likely closer to 3.75 lbs. if the frame uses oversize tubing (1-1/8" top tube and 1-1/4" down tube).

Lugs do add a little weight as do certain styles of dropouts - like the horizontal type w/adjuster screws. You can figure that a lugged frame will weigh about 1/4 lbs. more than a TIG frame. Not sure about a fillet brazed frame like many Landsharks - maybe somewhere in between?
Thanks for responses!krishna
