I'm building a new bike with DA. Front left DA shifter is having problem shifting. Any special attention needed when running cable thru the shifter hold assembly unit? I click it 3 times before pull and tigtening the front derailure cable. Thanks.

I wouldnt worry about it, sometimes the new D/A is VERY stiff at the beginning....rip through the gears a few times and after the first ride everything will be smooth...there's nothing magical about running the cable, just make sure you shift down to the little ring before you thread the cable through the shifter body, attatch to the f.derr and then shift up to the big ring and back down to the little, this will probably create some slack, so retighten the cable @ the f. derr and then you should be good to go....dont forget to leave a little adjustment on the barrel adjuster as well before you pull everything tight...

When you shift, make sure to only hit the lever intended. That means no brake movement at all. I had a hell of a time trying to figure out how picky the stuff it(more that Ultegra).
