Race wheels, again, I know...Greyhound
Feb 9, 2002 5:54 PM
Hed Alps Vs. Zipp 303 clincher Vs. Mavis Ksyrium SL. I am a college racer doing mostly road races, some TT, and a couple crits. I am light (147) and have a carbon bike, so I think I'm pretty easy on wheels. Any experiance with these wheels?

Any Input is apreciated,
Greyhound

Whoa... nelly these things rock. I can't tell you about longitevity, cuz I just got them... But man they are fast... And look sweet... I chose these because of the reputation of the previous model and my friends recommendation at my LBS (Colorado Cyclist). Everyone has them in the store. Not one set has yet to be returned for truing except one, it got ran over by a car and had some minor scuffs and a bit of truing. I was concerned about weight (I'm about 190-195) but they are SUPER solid. I use them for everything so far...

Good luck
