| TA Kheops Cassette | JBF Feb 9, 2002 5:14 PM | | Does anyone have experiance with the TA Kheops cassette? It is lightweight, allows campy spacing on a Shimano compatible hub, and is less expensive than the more common Wheels Manufacturing shimano-to-campy remachined cassettes. |
| re: TA Kheops Cassette | Tosh Feb 24, 2002 12:27 AM | | I have been using this for about 2month/700miles now.
First of all, this is not for daily training because the teeth worn out very rapid and some are deformed easily.
You might think Shimano compatible hub in combination with campy 9 speed...if so, this works only with MAVIC M10 cassette body but not with all other Shimano compatible cassette because only MAVIC M10 has longer cassette body which is able to accomodate Campy 9 speed spacing.
So, my suggestion is go for Shimano D/A cassette even with Campy 9sp drive train unless you are a serious gram counter. This combination works well and is pretty reliable, too.
Good Luck! |
