What lube/Oil do you use on you FT/RR Der. and brakes?(NM)James

Personally, I like the Finish Line products...Cima Coppi

But one can really use just about any lubricant available on the market. Even organic lubricants work fine.

The catch is that any lubricant will break down with use, so maintenance is a must no matter what.

For a couple of reasons.
First, I have a bunch of it, since it lubes all my chains. I picked up their needle-point applicator, which is nice for chains, but doubly nice for getting to rear derailleur pivots, and not getting excess lube on tires, brake pads, etc.
And the big one - it seems to displace water pretty well, due to whatever solvents they add. This means you can relube right after a rain ride, or washing the bike, and not worry about rust, or forgetting to lube.
