Old Dura-Ace hub Q(3 posts)

Old Dura-Ace hub Qdamon
Jan 28, 2002 7:45 PM
I happen to have an NOS dura-ace hub, but it is a weird one (to me, anyway). It has 126 spacing and looks to have a 6sp UG freehub body. My main question is: will only a UG small-cog screw onto the externally threaded portion of the freehub? What else shares that same threading?

Thanks,
-D

All of those cogs are pretty well dead and gone. They do not appear in any of my parts catalogs.Any modifications, new axle and freehub would be more expensive than just buying a new hub. I don't know of any other cogs that will screw on to that freehub

I had one of these a few years ago and it ran well. It's since been retired to the wind trainer. I don't know what else threads on but if you need a cassette I know a great LBS that sells tons of NOS for this type of equipment. This is where I bought a cassette for the same hub. The # is 412-621-6160 and the owner is named Jerry. His prices are very reasonable.
