any difference? in weight, stiffness, ride quality, whatever? the reason I ask is because the 2.0 is on sale at Chucks Bikes for $295. the 1.0 is $100 more from Supergo.

Last I heard the 1.0 is made in the USA from a better grade aluminum. My early 1999 version was easton elite. The 2.0 is made in Asia from perhaps a 7005 series aluminum. The geometry is the same. My buddy has a 2.0 and he loves it. The bike is stiff and responsive. The 1.0 is the same frame used in Europe for Team Lotto and has been raced in all the major tours including the Tour de France. I had my 1.0 for 3 years and it held up fine. The 2.0 is very close in both stiffness and weight but the primary differance as I said is the tube set and the USA vs Asia issue.
You'll be pleased with either choice.

I bought my 2.0 from Chuck, and I really like it. The 2.0 frame is $100 less than the 1.0, and comes with a carbon fork, and headset.
