Any opinions on the Flite 800? It is Renyolds 853, tig welded and the 2002 model has Dura Ace components and Velomax wheels and comes in at 18 pounds less pedals.

How would you think the frame would compare with the Gunnar, which is in the same price range and also tig welded 853?

Mine has Ultegra with a Dura Ace in the rear and Vector Comps. It was the best deal I found when I was loking for a Steel bike. I can't say enough about this bike. I can't comment on other bikes but for my money the KHS is a great bike. It's right around 19 lbs. If you are not actually seeing this bike somewhere be advised. It runs a little short and the top tube is long. I'm not sure of actual numbers but my 58cm bike is more like a 57 with a 57.5 top tube. Fits me fine. Good luck.
