rattling 105STI leversmanong

my shimano 105 levers rattle like crazy pig on rough roads.is there some remedies to it?please help!!!

get Campy, they're cheaper for the same level (Centaur) and they have stronger return springs, so they don't rattle. I have the same problem, but my riding buddy with Daytona doesn't even though he rides the same way/places I do.

The new Ultegra (and Dura Ace), have a screw that holds the top cover securely. I think this is your problem. I have the older Ultegra on two bikes (9 spped), and put some crazy glue btween the cover and the shifter assembly, also put a piece of tape under the hood to hold the cover in place. This cover could come off during a ride. I did this about a year ago, and the covers are still secure. Poor design by Shimano.

Unfortunately your only solution is to go with an entire new Campy group to save your bicycle! (tongue in cheek!)
