|Ok, I'm starting to put together a new bike. I'm mixing and matching a lot of the high end stuff from my old bike with a few new things to go with my new carbon frame, one place where I'm going to have to get something new is the stem.. I've been operating with the threaded stem that came with my bike now, but since the new frame ships with a threadless headset and fork.. not to mention that it's a 1-1/8th steerer I'm going to have to get a new stem. What's a good way to go here?? I need something fairly light and stiff, but don't care to spend more than $100. I've heard good things about the Ritchey Pro, the ITM Millenium and the 3TTT Zepp. I've heard good things about the Look Carbon stem as well but can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?? Also, I've got Easton EA-90 Carbon bars which are 26mm bars.. Will a 25.8mm stem work??
