does anyone have any advice or tips on re-painting a 93' trek 2300 three tube carbon? it has neon yellow stays, and fork, and it needs some attention. thanks

Really depends on how much money you want to spend on it. The best would be to send it back to Trek for a factory repaint, probably $300+. Or take it to a custom auto paint shop, but don't expect to save any money. Do it yourself with automotive wet sanding then spray it with your a sprayer and compressor, or air brush, or aerosol cans. The results will depend on your abilities. And, of course, you will need to take everything off of the frame and protect those areas that should not be painted.

thanks chen2, but $300 bucks is a little out of my price range, i'm only in high school. i was thinking about getting new decals from trek, but i'm still hung on what to do about the rear triangle and the fork, i love the nude carbon on the main tubes, but the neon yellow has to go.
