|Building up a new high end road bike and am wondering which triple? My main goal is smooth quiet shifting, reliability. Weight and looks are important, but not quite as much.
I have an Ultegra triple on my current ride. It is OK, but the trim position issue means plenty of chain rattle (or a frequent need for attention).
I'm curious as to anyone with personal experience with the new Dura Ace Triple or with either the Record or Chorus triple from Campy.
The good, the bad, the ugly. Please help.

|I have the same question, though i am also considering a Campy Record 10 speed, with 13-29 cogs, to provide quicker shifting and still enough gearing for the mountains. I'd get the Record or Dura Ace triple, if I felt that they shifted quickly enough for fast club riding.|

I am also waiting that somebody reports about his triple experience. I have to make decision very soon between Dura Ace triple, Chorus double or Chorus/Record triple ! I was not happy with Campy Triple Veloce last season.( See my report under some similar title on these pages)

|I have the campy record racing triple, it shifts very smoothly, am very pleased with it. New for 2002 is the record triple with carbon bb and rear der.|| |
