Unless you are doing it because you haven't been able to find the right stem in a threaded version, this is an "upgrade" I'd skip. No weight savings or performance boost.

But what's driving the need?

I ran a set up like this for a while while looking for a stem that fit. It was easier and cheaper for me to find threadless stems to try. However once I had a fit, I went back to threaded. It's no upgrade: the performance is the same and the weght is higher (the adapter is not super light).

Lots of people have done this and reported on it here. Still a question as to what is accomplished by the switch unless you just can't get your needed position any other way. Otherwise, it's more money and no weight saved with probably a bit more flex in the system when it's all over. Knock yourself out.
