How often do you replace 'em. Mine are still goin' for at least 3 thousand miles if not 4. I can rock the shoe left/right a significant amount. I assume its because 'em butterflies're worn. No?

Thanx a bunch.

Woof the doggiedog.

Not necessariy. The "springs" in the cleats tend to wear too. They will go from a round cross section to a flattened one. These can be replaced seperately and cheaper than replacing the whole cleat by the wya. Remove the butterflies to see if they are worn. Its easy.

well, i replaced the cleat two times already, but even with the new ones, the shoe is "rockable." Butterflies are expensive motherfckers.

Cleat wear and side to side rocking is why I am interested in the new Pedal from Speedplay called the Zero, it has adjustable float and a totaly different cleat. When I talked with Speedplay they told me that they expect to sell very few replacment cleats for the Zero due to extended cleat life.
