|New bearings for American Classic||Woof the dog|

|Is it true that AC has some kind of new higher quality bearing for their micro ~70 gr. hubs? I've talked to someone who told me he now uses these new bearings 'cause so many of them got rough/failed. If so, if I buy a new AC micro fronthub, will I also get these better bearings, or I'd need to buy 'em separate?
Thanx a bunch
Woof, the master of puppies. Great album by the way.

|Shouldn't you ask American Classic about this? Their website is amclassic.com. People frequently ask questions that are appropriate for the manufacturer to answer. Sometimes the info is on the manufacturer's website, but people are too lazy to look it up themselves.
The bearings are an R-4 cartridge type. All cartridge bearings are available with different types of seals and different grades of bearings. Bicycle hubs can benefit from better seals, if used in wet weather, but expensive high- grade bearings are intended for high rpm situations that aren't experienced on a bike hub.
