|I've heard or read in one of the reviews on this site that Campy wheels are hard to use with certain brands of tires. I thought Italian wheels...so I'd buy Italian tires (Vitoria Rubino Pros, even thouh I found out when Got got them that they were made in Asia). When trying to put them on, I found that they were very difficult, to the point that I thought I would damage the wheel. I did snap one of my tire levers and then I gave up, not want to hurt anything else. Does anyone have any suggestions as to tires that are a better fit for the Campy 2002 Protons?

|I've got 02 Neutrons and find that Vred's and Veloflex tires mount pretty easily on them. Once they have been on the rim for a week I can remove/replace without levers.

|I have no problems with Conti 3000's on '01 Nucleons. Single tyre lever job on & off.|

|I have a set of Neutrons and was ready for battle when installing the tires because of what I've read. Sure enough, it was difficult but I was able to roll the bead over with some moderate effort and no tools. It's funny though, I don't think I would ever be able to get Veloflex tires on because I was barely able to get those on a set of Open Pros while the Open Corsas come off almost too easy for my taste. The good news is that after the initial mounting, it's always easier. Practice your technique also, roll the tire over with your hands, use lots of baby power and it will slide over.
