Lights & Motion vs JET(3 posts)

Lights & Motion vs JETpaul3d

I'm looking into buying a new set of duel lights. Trying to decide between these two. Looking for a dependable light that puts out a bright, crisp beam. Which is the better brand?
Thanks

I bought a Jet Phantom Dual Beam light in October and so far and quite satisfied with it. I wanted a bright light and this is a very white bright light. I use it for commuting and find that I only need the wide beam floodlight. I don't need the spotlight. Its a major improvement over my previous light, a Nightsun, also a dual beam which was 7 or 8 years old. My only concern is replacement of the bulbs when they burn out. They're pricy at $29.95 each. Too early to know how long they will last. In the years that I used the Nightsun, I only had to replace each bulb once.

I would recoomend going with the LIM lights. I rode the 24 Hours of Moab this year and their lights ran flawlessly with very consistent beam patterns.

I'm really pysched on their new ARC light. You can't go wrong with their Dual Logic or Cabezza. By the way, they are great to deal with as well.
