|all the campy time lines i have seen stop with super record or c-record and then i see nothing or cant find info until about '95.
were these campy's "dark years"?

|Not sure about the dates of introduction of Synchro. Most Campy-philes refuse to discuss it. It's like your "crazy cousin Larry" everyone knows he's there but everyone just looks the other way. I tried Campy's Synchro system it was pretty bad. It was heavy,expensive, and did not work very well. I was forced to go with Shimano. It wasn't real pretty but at least it worked.
I thought Campy was dead. I got out of cycling for 2-3 yrs and when I bought again they were on their current Ergo system. Worked like a charm. Some one else may be able to help you with exact dates of Synchro and Ergo introduction.
