Where to buy wheels?RaiderMike

I am looking for a road wheel set, and have narrowed my choices down to either open pros, or cxp-33's with ultegra, or D/A hubs. Any one have recomendations on a good online wheelbuilder/ retailer.

They will build Open Pros or CXP-33's with ULT or DA hubs. Check out their Excel Wheelsets. I think they are CXP-33's with D/A hubs

if you want pre-built (mavics, etc) try overseas sites like www.totalcycling.com or www.sdeals.com

This is not a reflection on YOUR LBS, or anyone else's for that matter, but it is safe to say that wheel build quality from an LBS can be "variable" unless you know their reputation already. I live in an area with roughly 250K people in a 30 mile radius, and I would not buy wheels from any local shop. The nearest guy I would trust is 70 miles away.

See shookdesigns.com
Their prebuilt wheelset with their 350 gram rims is excellent.
