|I've taken everything off my wife's Pinarello so we can have the stays spread to aceept more gears and also have it repainted. She is also considering a CF fork which brings up two questions.
How do we match the rake so as not to change the handling of the perfect bike that God custom designed for her?
Are any forks easier to repaint to match the pink metal flake paint she hopes to duplicate?

|Most custom shops do paint CF forks to match their frames -- something I don't understand, as I like the carbon weave pattern. If the frame is being painted, just have the fork painted at the same time. As for the fork rake, just look for the CF fork that most closely duplicates the rake of the existing fork. The rake should be listed in the bike's owners manual, or you could check with your local Pinarello distributor. I don't know of any custom CF fork makers, so I think you're pretty much stuck trying to get a close match.|
