|just a question.
or what i am trying to say is does building a wheel with a higher rim profile allow me to use fewer spokes and retain the same relative strength?
and also apart from the big two what companies make both a front and rear 28 hole hubset? i know of american classic and chris king. what about hug?
all input appreciated.

|The deeper the profile, the less the spokes.|

|you will be carrying your weight over fewer spokes (usually only over the top 1/3 spokes at any given time). So, those spokes have to be thicker.|

|Deeper rim and fewer spokes both mean you will have a harder time truing the wheels.|| |
