I remember not too long ago a brand of steel cranks and BB assembly named "Sweet Wings." Seemed to have a good set-up, with a single bolt assembling the two halves and BB together in a splined BB. Anybody know what happened to them, as I haven't seen them in a while?

They've been out of business for years. Probably since around 1997-1998ish. They were nice cranks and were much coveted by weight-weenies until the current crop of carbon cranks came along. The downside was that they were wicked expensive (not compared to the new Record- but they didn't say "Record" on the side either). They still have a pretty loyal following and once in a blue moon they pop up on e-bay.
Botique cranks come and go. (nm)grzy
