Does Anyone Still Paraffin their Chain?morey

I have used everything, including Prolink. I still paraffin my chain. Why? It works, it is clean, it is not that hard. Maybe I am a clean freak, but even Prolink was too dirty for my taste.

From what I can tell, I must be a dinosaur to use Paraffin.

As I was scratching my rear from the wool, I decided to call my buddies use my rotary phone. What a modern world. I guess times are getting better!!!!!

I'm as retro as they come, when the stuff works--lugged steel frame (Atlantis), Brooks saddle, and yes, I DO have a wool jersey (no shorts, though). But that damn wax is too hard to use and falls off too soon for me.

I get wool sweaters @ thrift stores for running and if I could afford wool bike shirts I'd wear them. Nothing keeps me warm better than wool once I start sweating. No way I'd go back to hot wax or wool shorts.
