|I have A pair of Northwave Team Carbons now and after a few seasons they are kind of funky and have a few really deep scratches from a wreak and such. Anyway, i was looking at a new pair of shoes. Possible a new pair of northwaves b/c my feet are barrow or some carnacs. Does anyone have these and are they wide narrow or what?|

|I have the Carnac Ellipse shoes. They fit and feel great on my feet. The toe box is a little wider that some other shoes ( SIDI, Shimano), but the overall shoe doesn't seem overly wide. I had Shimano before, and my toes would cramp up, but the Carnacs have been worlds better-more comfortable, stiffer, etc. They seemed kind of pricey ($229), but have been well worth it. They also come in half sizes as well!

|The Legend version have a large toe-box and run a half size too large (e.g., if you normally wear size 45, get 44.5). The other versions run right on and have smaller toe-boxes, but still bigger than Sidi for example. I've got wide feet and have used Legends for years. they are nice shoes. I've also got a pair of the mtn bike shoes that are comfy. They're expensive, but good. Time also makes shoes with a relatively large toe-box. |
Shoes and shorts are two things not worth skimping on.
