Campy Pedals -> Models & yearMazz

Hey
Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the campy daytona, veloce, and Centaur pedals.

And has there been any major improvements or de-provements in pedal quality since Y2K to 2001?

Campagnolo's website says they've replaced the Daytona line for 2002 with Centaur. Thanks Campy, like we need another branding change - but I digress.

The differences in the pedals going from Veloce up through Record are mostly in the bearings, I believe. The higher end pedals have better bearing systems and lighter weight.

I've ridden Daytona pedals for two seasons and they work just fine.

I read somewhere that there was some kind of copyright problem with the Daytona name and it is only a name change to Centaur - the parts will be the same.
