| clicking noise from rear rolf vector pro wheel | roadcycle Sep 19, 2001 10:18 AM | | Hi,
There is a clicking noise from my rear wheel, either while riding the bike and turning the crank arms forward, or while standing near the bike, lifting the rear wheel from the ground and turning the cranck arms forward.
The noise ocurrs with every wheel turn.
The noise does not ocurr when turning the cranck arms backwards.
I'd aprreciate advice about the cause of that noise and the way to fix it. |

| re: clicking noise from rear rolf vector pro wheel | Henry Sep 28, 2001 5:53 AM | | Not a clicking noise in the rear, but another owner of Rolfe Comps said that the wheels would start "creaking" and the front one did. It occurs when the wheel is flexed from side to side, and is getting worse. What is the source of the creaking? |
| Derailleur pulley hitting spoke. | TFerguson Sep 21, 2001 11:39 AM | | I have had the rear derailleur adjusted (or actually in need of adjustment) where one of the spokes would hit the pulley. Could have been very bad if just a little bit more. |
| Valve stem | randy Sep 21, 2001 2:56 PM | | This may sound funny but I've seen it alot with this wheels. The Valve taps the rim, it sound pretty loud. Just try using the valve nuts. Otherwise it might be a tension issue. Hope this helps. Randy |
