Am looking to upgrade wheels. Any opinions on K's vs DA? Am 180 lbs. Handle mostly rolling hills and flats. 22 - 24 mph average. Maintenance? Thanks.

Went through that dilema last week... the price difference after checking the Ks at bristish online stores answered my question...$470 with shipping. I don't buy that the Dura ace are worth th extra 300...I got a new fork instead :-)

Check out article at Bike.com on comparring Shimano,K's,Palermo's,Nucleons,Mavic CXP-33/Chris King Hubs 28 hole on durabillity, performance, weight, and Price, let's face it we all want the best deal but more often than not the cheapest isn't always the best.In this case the cheapest was the best but that's only if you don't want to go Campy. The King hubs are not compatible with Campy yet.

I BOUGHT A TOTALLY CUSTOM SET OF MAVIC CXP-33 WITH DT HUGI HUBS THAT ARE BUILT FOR MY WEIGHT,RIDING STYLE,CONDITIONSFROM JOE YOUNG AT YOUNGWHEELS.COM AND LOVE EM!!!! CHECK IT OUT

That applies if you buy the Ks for $800. I wonder if the ratings would have changed if the price of the Ks were 400...which is what most people pay for them through European shops. That was a good article though. Thanks
