Anyone bought a Scattante or Zonal frame?
I see they're pretty cheap at Supergo. Any have any comments on them?

Just bought the Airplane. I looked and looked at it and decided I could not let it pass... I talked with the mechanic at the supergo bike shop and he said it was identical!!! to the Cinelly Aliante although the cinelly sells for 2Xs the price. There was some talk in the past that the airplane was actually made at the cinelly factory...(run a search for scattante in the discussions)...but I could not get any evidence of this and the guy at supergo could not tell me who actually makes the bike... so it is possible that it is actually the same cinelly bike :-). I read some of the reviews (through ebayreviews) and they all loved both bikes (the airplane and the zonal). The Airplane has much better aluminum set (it is the same as the Altec-2+) and it is much lighter,,,(my 50cm is about 2.5pounds), thus the price difference. I will get mine next week and will post a review after a few rides... let me know if you decide to get it.....

the airplane frame is made in Italy and the zonal is made in Taiwan-something you might not discern from the Supergo site.If I was buying I would go for the airplane.
Where did you get this info? Thanks.nmnestorl
